A runner or holder keeps a plate securely in its designed position. Suitability must be checked against the container model and maker's instructions.
Verify component fit
Compare container and plate model codes, drawings and holder capacity. Do not assume a component from another model fits.
Inspect the empty container
Check the runner for cracks, loose fittings or wear. Fit the plate as instructed by the maker and test retention and movement.
Trial under load
With representative goods and packaging, check that the plate does not touch products, obstruct closure or compromise the designed airflow space.
Record trips and maintenance. After loading and on return, record plate position, contact marks, damage and cleaning status. Isolate an incompatible or damaged holder; do not increase capacity without maker approval.
Measure thermal outcome
Run a real-route trial at measurement points required by product instructions. Do not infer performance from an assumption about how cold air moves.
