Do not guess how long goods take to move from a basement receiving area to an upper-floor shelf. Track each step from receipt to shelf with timestamps for the same lot.
Find the lift bottleneck
Record receipt, queue entry, loading into the lift, arrival on the floor, and shelf-placement times for each lot. The records show where waiting builds up.
Set the transfer order
Move chilled and frozen groups in containers that provide protection suited to their product requirements. Assign an owner and priority to concurrent lots; check the sequence against actual time records.
Plan containers and empty returns. Check the lift’s usable dimensions, loaded container dimensions, and safe loading rules. Record empty-container return times and compare them with full-load movements for conflicts.
