Whether a dolly fits under a carrier depends on more than dimensions: contact, load distribution and route matter. Check capacity and use limits for the exact model.

Compare dimensions

Measure carrier base width and length against the platform, including wheels and projections. If the maker does not specify support or overhang conditions, do not assume fit.

Verify the load rating

Calculate combined carrier, contents and accessory weight and compare it with the dolly label. Review model limits for movement, slope and floor conditions separately.

Trial the actual route in a controlled way

Start on level ground, then test thresholds, turns, ramps and stopping under supervision. Stop if the carrier slides, rocks or loads an overhanging edge.

Measure clearances

Compare door and lift openings with total loaded height on the dolly. Set braking, restraint and pushing method from the instructions.
