A liquid-collection tub and a cold source do different jobs. Which parts can be used together depends on carrier model, accessories and instructions.
Match model and article code. Verify TBX model, tub type, drain arrangement, holder and plate article against the parts list. Do not assume one model's layout applies to another.
GEBHARDT distinguishes the TBX 1000's integrated collection tub and rear drain from a removable 18-litre stainless tub accessory for TBX 725/795. Do not treat these as the same arrangement.
Test access in the loaded setup. Load actual cases and check access to drain valve, plates and goods. Define removal order and tub-emptying steps in the operating instructions.
Assess ice and plates separately
Using both does not automatically reduce ice quantity or plate count. Measure product layout, liquid flow and duration on a representative shipment.
Record the configuration
Put model, accessory codes, load photo, drain check and product readings on one acceptance form. Resolve mismatches with the manufacturer or authorised seller.
