Among the optional equipment of the GEBHARDT Isotec TBX is a document slot fitted to the door; it holds delivery papers or instructions and is fitted on request at extra cost. If the paperwork sits in the driver's hand or in the cab it is separated from the container, and when the unit changes hands it gets lost or attached to the wrong one.

That is why the pocket helps on multi-drop rounds where a different container comes off at each stop, on transhipped shipments where another crew takes the container over, and in flows where a return form travels back with an empty unit. On a single drop with a single container it stays empty. The container's usage instructions or cleaning card can live there too.

If the container is washed, so is the pocket, so put the paper in a sleeve and empty the pocket at the end of the round. Where the paperwork is fully electronic the pocket does less, but it still holds a printout for an inspection and an emergency instruction.
