For chilled cargo, the note identifies parties, goods and delivery; it is not temperature evidence by itself.
Prepare the consignment note. Article 40(8) of the Turkish Road Transport Regulation bars carriage of goods without a consignment note. Check the applicable current text and format.
Complete the record fields
Match party, goods, quantity, collection and delivery details to the contract and current regulatory scope.
Keep dispatch and transport document fields distinct, and assign an owner for each record.
| Record | Field |
|---|---|
| Note | Consignor / carrier / consignee |
| Goods | Type and quantity |
| Delivery | Place and time |
Verify current rules for electronic access or required copies.
Record temperature separately
Set the temperature regime, product reading and pre-cooling responsibility in the contract or an attached instruction.
The note's goods description and delivery record do not replace logger data or a product-temperature measurement.
The point at which a record becomes evidence is gathered under cold chain basics.
Match records at receipt
Link container ID, lot, instrument, time and location to the same consignment as the note.
Know the limit
Having a document does not prove cargo travelled at a suitable temperature. Preserve deviation records and seek authorized product review.
