When reviewing carriage responsibility, record receipt, goods declarations and delivery evidence separately.
Document the custody period. Article 40(9) of the Turkish Road Transport Regulation addresses custody from the carrier's receipt of goods until delivery.
That provision alone does not resolve every circumstance or allocation of fault; review contracts and records together.
Capture the consignor's declaration
Record verifiable details about goods, quantity, packaging and stowage before dispatch.
If a declaration is missing or inconsistent, seek clarification before loading and identify the responsible contact.
Share temperature requirements in writing for the product and route; do not assume they are an automatic statutory field.
How the stowage decision is put together is covered under two regimes in one vehicle.
Measure at handover
Link product readings to instrument ID, time, location and lot; retain air data separately.
Compare transfer records
Review loading and delivery records alongside logger trace, container ID and event notes.
A temperature difference alone does not decide responsibility; preserve evidence and refer it for authorized review.
