Plate-set need comes from the operation's use and reconditioning cycle, not a fixed overnight assumption. Plate type, quantity and freezer layout can affect the result.
Build the cycle from timestamps
For each set, record loading, end of round, freezer entry and readiness under the procedure. Link plate type, freezer used and rack arrangement; do not decide readiness by exterior feel alone.
Find overlapping rounds. Make visible in the schedule whether plates are ready before the next dispatch. Calculate the quantity needed both in the field and in preparation from actual workdays and additional-round demand.
