Whether medicines and food may share a vehicle depends on products, activity and authorisation scope; similar-looking temperature ranges are not enough.
Check prerequisites. Derive transport conditions from product instructions and customer specifications. Confirm carrier authorisation, applicable local rules and contract terms with the responsible compliance/quality team.
Address spills, odour, allergens, outer-package contact, cleaning and loading order in a risk assessment. Show separate containers/compartments, monitoring records and handover owners in the plan; verify space performance with actual load and route.
Do not combine loads until suitability is approved in writing. For an excursion, segregate affected lots and record separate assessments by the authorised medicine-quality and food-safety leads.
