A label standard means more than showing the same fields in the same place. Field staff must be able to reach the correct dispatch record from the label.

Use a durable identity number on the container body. Manage changing details such as contents, lot, destination and fill or dispatch time on a separate label or document pocket; the process owner defines required fields.

Trial a sample label in the loading area. Ask different staff to locate a container and read product, lot and destination; check legibility under actual lighting, condensation, stacking and handling.

If using a barcode or QR code, verify which record system the scan opens and the fallback when connectivity fails. Printing a code does not create traceability by itself.

Simplify fields that staff do not use or confuse. Repeat the same field trial after changes and compare old and new record errors.
