Whether insulated containers or a refrigerated trailer fit depends on daily loads and route conditions. Instead of assuming a general volume or duration limit, review recent trip data for load, time, stops and handover.
Document trip requirements
Record product groups, load quantity, pallet or container count, longest route, waits, door openings and power access. Add product transport instructions and the receiving site's handover requirements.
Compare both setups with a real load
For containers, define representative product placement, cold-source preparation and measurement points along the route. For a trailer, verify active-system settings and records, loading order and access at stops. Link starting and delivery data to the same batch.
Decide against documented delivery conditions and the operation's capacity evidence. If volume, duration or workflow needs exceed the current setup, compare alternatives through a trial and cost items; do not assume a performance guarantee.
