Verify the door magnet's temperature limit for its model

A 70°C value does not apply to every magnet. Check the option's datasheet and actual surface conditions.

Short answer

Use 70°C only for the model if stated in that magnet's manufacturer documentation; it is not a universal limit. Verify model/option code, operating-temperature data and installation. If holding weakens, do not force the door; record surface conditions, alignment and damage, and use a manufacturer-approved restraint during loading.

The 70°C in the headline cannot be used as a general magnet limit without a verified model datasheet. Check the door-holder option by exact model code.

Find the technical limit. Confirm the magnet maker's permitted operating temperature and whether it refers to the magnet, surface or ambient air. If undocumented, do not assign a threshold.

Separate possible causes in the field

If holding weakens, inspect contact surface, alignment, contamination, installation and damage. Record ambient and surface readings, time, and sun/shade conditions.

Work safely during loading

Stop loading if the door closes unexpectedly; use a mechanical restraint only if instructions permit it. Do not repair the magnet by squeezing or impact.
