How to test cold delivery by cargo bike

Short answer

Check maker limits for the bike, carrier, box and cooling elements together, alongside the product's written transport conditions. Trial a representative load over the planned route and stops, recording start, intermediate and delivery readings. If results comply, plan only for that load and route.

Verify rated load for the bike and carrier, box weight and cooling-element compatibility in their technical documents. Include the product's stated conditions in the plan.

Trial the planned route with a real load. Measure at the start, selected stops and delivery; record lid openings, waits and any deviation.

The result applies only to the tested load, layout and route. Retest if order density, weather or stop pattern changes; do not dispatch product outside its stated conditions.
