A grab-and-go display makes products easy to reach, but the same spot may be affected by door openings, sunlight or an air-conditioning vent. Consider sales alongside product requirements and measurements when deciding where it belongs and how often to replenish it.

Map the cabinet's warm spots first

Before loading, take readings at different shelves and ends; note nearby doors, vents and direct sunlight. Check product temperature with a method suitable for the label's storage conditions. The cabinet display alone does not show the conditions every pack experiences.

Record the time and lot for each fill. Link same-day sales, markdowns and disposal to that replenishment lot. Compare waiting time and waste in your own store to see whether smaller, more frequent fills help; do not assume a fixed shelf life.

Test a new location in a controlled way

If the cabinet moves, repeat temperature checks and sales tracking at the new location. When the product range or supplier storage instructions change, do not assume the old measurement pattern still applies.
