A business distributing with its own vehicles still needs to define product requirements, measurements and deviation decisions. Using a vehicle or insulated container alone does not show that product conditions were met.

Link trip instructions to product requirements. Write down the target from the product or customer specification, pre-loading check, measurement point, device and delivery record. State whether each value is product-core, air or surface temperature.

Define the deviation decision path

Set steps for the responsible person to isolate product, notify quality staff and record the assessment when a reading is outside target. A sensor alarm alone is not a product acceptance or rejection decision.

Trial with a representative route, load, packaging and door-opening pattern. Use actual timelines and readings to validate equipment and trip procedure; do not generalise a protection duration.
