First preserve the lot and evidence
Confirm lot identity, segregate affected stock under procedure, and retain logger file, device details, alarm time, handoff records and package observations. Flag missing or conflicting data separately.
Refer to the authorised owner against product criteria
Send the quality owner the event timeline and applicable specification or supplier assessment. Consider acceptance, redirection, reprocessing or disposal only under the valid product procedure and authorised decision.
