Before dedicating containers, get the reason in writing: traceability, product segregation, branding or a specific customer process?

For a representative period, link dispatch, handover, idle time, cleaning, return and damage records to customer and container ID. Size the dedicated pool from actual use rather than a catalogue assumption.

Consider reserving containers only for workflows with a specific need. Make dedication visible with color, labels or a separate parking area and define how shared-pool mix-ups are prevented.

Agree in writing on ownership, use term, cleaning, loss/damage notice, empty returns and end-of-term return or renewal conditions.

Review utilization and idle records after dedication. If use falls or customer requirements change, re-plan the allocated pool rather than assuming expected utilization.
