The Isotec TBX comes with two base options. GEBHARDT supplies the pallet model on a hot-dip galvanised steel pallet, describes it as suitable for conveyor systems and industrial trucks, and states that it can be picked up from four sides by forklift, electric pallet truck or hand pallet truck.
A hot-dip galvanised pallet base, conveyor compatibility and four-way entry are supplied together on the Isotec TBX.
Wheeled or pallet
| Criterion | Wheeled (410-795 litres) | Pallet (900-1500 litres) |
|---|---|---|
| Payload | 500 kg | 700 kg |
| Last metres | Pushed by hand, narrow streets and inside shops | Needs a forklift or pallet truck |
Four-way entry lets the fork approach the base from any side in a narrow aisle. A depot where containers are pushed by hand points to the wheeled base; one running forklifts, pallet trucks and conveyors points to the pallet base.
Check it on your own site. On the quote, fix the base option and model code and ask Aris Makina for GEBHARDT's current underside drawing. Measure fork spacing, pallet-truck entry height, load centre and aisle turning space on your own equipment, and check lifting capacity against the actual weight of container and load using the forklift's load chart. The 700 kg in the table does not mean safe use with every forklift and floor.
Then, with an authorised operator, try each entry direction first empty and then with a representative load, and record fork engagement, balance and obstacles during turning. Mark out any direction that does not work; review the base or handling method with Aris Makina.
