Choosing a wheeled or palletized base depends on the container's route and available handling equipment. Check actual doors, floors and loading conditions rather than relying on catalogue appearance.
Measure the route and space
Measure door openings, aisle turns, thresholds, ramps, vehicle interior height and storage area, and put them on a plan. Include handles, wheel or pallet projections in the loaded container's outside dimensions.
Trial both options with a real load. Move the wheeled model over the floor and observe brake and turning behaviour; for the pallet model, check access and safe engagement with the available pallet truck or forklift. Rehearse vehicle restraint points and unloading sequence.
Assess trial results together with maintenance, cleaning and empty storage arrangements. Repeat measurements if the vehicle or route changes; do not generalize one site's suitable base type to every operation.
