Assess plate placement through model-approved configurations and measurements, not assumptions about airflow.
Find permitted arrangements
Check the container manufacturer's instructions for rails, dividers, clearances and restraints.
Add restrictions for product contact, lid closure and load movement to the loading diagram.
Compare one variable
Trial current and proposed placement with the same container, product, plate model, conditioning and route conditions.
Keep sensors at the same qualified points representing product risk; compare timestamped records.
Decide from results. Update the diagram if the placement meets product conditions and follows manufacturer instructions.
If evidence is insufficient or requirements are not met, review added plates or another solution with technical and quality owners.
Adding plates does not guarantee performance; measure and verify the new arrangement.
