Where should a cooling plate go in a transport container?

Choose placement from the container model, load plan and product's sensitivity to freezing.

Short answer

First verify the plate slot, orientation and restraint in the manufacturer's drawing. Check direct product contact and airflow in the load plan; consult the product procedure on separation for freeze-sensitive goods. In a trial, place sensors at product-risk locations and record placement, readings and receipt findings.

Plate position varies by container and model; one layout does not suit every load. Use the model drawing and instructions.

Mark the plate slot, restraint, proximity to product packaging and air gaps on the loading plan. If the product specification identifies freeze sensitivity, assess contact risk separately.

In a product trial, hold placement and sensor locations consistent and record readings. Inspect product at receipt; revalidate layout changes with the same protocol.
