Link each trip-sheet entry to container ID, vehicle, stop and action taken.
Define the source of the ID.
Read permanent identity from the container; keep a temporary sequence label in a separate field.
Add vehicle identity; a container number does not identify the vehicle.
Write stop and delivery reference on the same row.
Record each opening separately if a container is opened more than once.
Enter the event time; do not estimate it later.
If measuring, record value, instrument and sampling point.
If no reading was taken, state the reason in the site's required format.
Link these details for every row.
Container ID and any temporary label.
Vehicle and trip ID.
Stop, event type and time.
Reading or recorded exception.
The container number does not replace the vehicle plate :: The plate identifies the vehicle, while the container number identifies the volume holding the goods. If a vehicle carries six containers, the plate alone does not show which product is where.
If an ID is faint, photograph the readable part and ask the responsible person to verify it instead of guessing.
Until verified, record the temporary ID, who assigned it and when it was closed.
At trip close, transfer the form to the site's designated record location.
This mapping links a delivery query back to its container and event.
