Routing a cable between lid and body can change the gasket line and therefore the measurement setup. Interpret a wired result only when the physical arrangement is documented and distinguished from normal shipment conditions.

Inspect closure

With the planned load and sensor in place, close the lid normally. Use a photo and diagram to record whether the cable causes gasket compression, a gap, pinching or lid misalignment.

Verify the manufacturer's solution

If the model has a defined sensor pass-through or accessory, follow its installation instructions. Do not drill the body or alter the gasket; request the appropriate connection documentation from your supplier.

Separate measurement setups

If a cable pass-through is used, enter sensor point, cable route and closure observation in the test report. If useful, compare with no cable under the same load and conditions, reporting the setups separately.
