Fix the method
Preserve raw data and align clocks. Put loading, door, route, plate, maintenance and receipt records in order.
Verify a hypothesis
Label each possible cause as a hypothesis; test it in a limited trial and record new data separately.
Link corrective action to a verified finding; keep uncertainty open if unresolved.
