Whether an order change is feasible and what it affects must be confirmed against the product's technical status and supply stage. A document or phone conversation alone does not mean every change has been accepted.

State the order number and affected line; show the current model, quantity or delivery detail beside the requested replacement. If needed, link a drawing or configuration annex by its current version.

Ask the seller to confirm feasibility, other affected parts, any price difference and revised delivery plan in writing. Production or shipping stage may be relevant input, but does not alone show the change is free, possible or impossible.

Share the confirmed version across teams. Obtain the answer in a revised proforma or order confirmation that clearly shows old and new scope. Send the current document to purchasing, warehouse and preparation teams; archive the old version so it is not used by mistake. Check receipt against the latest confirmed item list.
