Equipment can be presented as a separate price line, described within the service scope or included in the total. Before choosing, define which equipment is used at each service stage and who supplies it.
Use the same service boundaries in a comparison: delivery, usage period, cleaning or maintenance and records provided. Mark items included in one option but excluded from another so you compare scope, not just line count.
If the customer supplies equipment, clarify in writing how handoff, fitness checks, damage reporting and return responsibilities are handled. Verify any brand, model or performance statement against current technical documents and the service plan.
Keep quote terms consistent with the contract, invoicing flow and operating records. Retain the pricing assumptions with a version date; when scope changes, compare the old and new quote using the same assumptions.
