Do not treat measurements, supplier documents and estimates as equally reliable; show source, period and method for each data row.

Short answer

For each data row, state source, period, location, whether measured or estimated, and method. For temperature data, include timestamp, sensor location, calibration information and gaps. Make influential assumptions and their sources visible.

Meter data, supplier documents and estimates do not have equal confidence.
