A transformer nameplate alone is not enough when adding a freezer. A qualified electrician should assess the connection, panel, circuit and the site's simultaneous load.
Prepare a pre-order file
Gather the unit's electrical diagram and maker data, existing panel information and a list of equipment running on the same shift. The electrician can inspect supply capacity, circuit and protection, and identify missing information.
Measure during actual operation
Record when the freezer, cold-room equipment and other major loads overlap. Measurement planning, connection and protection choices require professional assessment; test load staggering only after technical suitability is confirmed.
