A phone video supplements an instruction by showing the movement; it does not replace the procedure. Measure training with an observed task check as well as viewing records.

Anchor the clip to the procedure. Show one workflow per clip, such as closing, taking a reading or entering a record. Include the current instruction version and filming date in its label; update or remove the old clip when the procedure changes.

Collect evidence of practice. Ask the worker to demonstrate the task on the same equipment. The trainer records correct steps, where help was needed, date and video version on a checklist; schedule practice again if needed.
