The count of days above a seasonal normal depends on location and comparison period; alone, it does not establish a lasting climate trend.

In the same MGM report, the daily national-mean anomaly versus the 1991-2020 normal is positive on 268 days, negative on 93 and zero on 4 of 365.

When citing a report figure, note station coverage, normal period, threshold method and publication year. Do not compare figures from different stations or reference periods as one series.

For operations, track ambient readings, product/container records and product conditions together. Set an early-warning trigger from site data and name the action, decision owner and record location for each trigger.

A trigger starts a logistics adjustment; it does not replace a product-conformity limit. Escalate deviations under the quality procedure and assess performance across comparable multi-year route records, not one year alone.
