A seasonal change does not automatically require a different plate count or melting point. Product targets may remain fixed; need must be measured under actual conditions.

For the same route and product, link container, plate model or batch, load, loading and handoff readings, ambient conditions and lid openings. Record sensor location and instrument status too.

Compare multiple trips and, if a deviation or trend appears, check product requirements and plate maker instructions. Do not use a plate incompatible with product limits.

First assess operational changes such as route, waiting, shade, loading sequence or preparation. Before changing plate count or type, run a verified trial with quality and equipment owners.

Document the approved seasonal setup with model, product, route and test conditions. Repeat measurements when weather or operations change; do not transfer one season's result to other conditions.
