Outdoor conditions can vary through the day during a seasonal transition. Make route decisions from local readings, delivery times and the product's own procedure.
Keep comparable records
Log ambient and product-zone readings by time for the same product and route. Note sensor location, loading time, stops and waiting.
Review packaging and delivery. Document wet packaging, label issues or visible condensation with time and location. Do not generalise one observation to all products.
Verify the route change
Test product separation or a timing change against delivery records. Compare before and after data under similar loads and conditions.
Check acceptance criteria. Obtain the product's storage and deviation procedure from the responsible source. If uncertain, pass the release decision to an authorised person.
