Altitude change alone does not determine product temperature or transport duration. Use a measured route profile that also captures journey time, stops, weather, loading and lid events.

Divide the route into segments. Record altitude and time at origin, intermediate stops and destination. Match actual weather observations or a reliable forecast with vehicle movement, waiting and door openings. Note actual duration separately when climbs, descents or roadworks change it.

Use the temperature acceptance range in the product label or approved specification; do not derive one shared range for fresh food, medicines or frozen loads. Place the logger near the product and retrieve data at start, critical stops and delivery.

Retest when season or load changes

Test with a representative load and container setup. State which product, route and weather conditions the profile covers; assess deviations under the authorized quality procedure. Revalidate in a new season or with changed loading or stops instead of relying on the old result.
