A disaster can disrupt power, roads and storage at once. A shipment plan must therefore identify not only the container and coolant, but also a reconditioning point, backup route and person responsible for monitoring.
Before dispatch, confirm each product's storage conditions separately. Check loaded test data for the selected container model, ambient profile, coolant arrangement and temperature endpoint. If the test does not cover these conditions, do not assume a safe duration.
During disruption, avoid unnecessary lid openings and preserve dispatch and arrival times, logger records and equipment status. Segregate vaccines or medicines after an excursion and obtain a decision from the responsible health team. Do not assume a container is ready for another shipment until its return and reconditioning cycle is established.
