Profile and corner-joint components may use different materials; exact description and function must be checked in the variant's technical documents. Visual inspection is not a material certificate.
Match the part to drawing and serial number
Obtain product code and serial number. Check the manufacturer's drawing for names and part numbers of frame profiles, corner joints, base and lid components. If making a material or thermal-bridge claim, use the description in the same model's documentation.
At receipt or maintenance, photograph corner cracks, dented profiles, loose joints, corrosion marks and uneven lid seating. If there is a gap on one side, follow the maker's service instructions; do not force the joint as a test.
Confirm spare-part fit before ordering
Send service the model, serial, damage photo and part number. Obtain written confirmation from your supplier that the part fits the variant and confirm installation method. Do not assume parts interchange between different serials or similar containers; record lid and use checks after repair.
