Heat transfer depends on wall layers, connections and joint design. A corner's surface feel or condensation alone does not show product temperature.

Inspect the construction

Look for insulation breaks or damage at corners, lid frames, hinges and metal fittings. Verify the model section and maintenance instructions in manufacturer documentation.

Separate surface and load readings

Record surface temperature with a separate contact measurement. Place the product-zone logger where it represents the load and note its position.

Compare under matched conditions

Compare loads near a corner and in the centre only with the same product, starting condition and route. One trial does not establish a design-wide rule.

Report damage

Record cracks, dents or seal gaps with location and a photo. Leave repair and return-to-use decisions to authorised service under model instructions.
