Supercooling describes some liquids remaining liquid below their equilibrium freezing point before crystallisation begins. Do not interpret this general phenomenon as the composition or fault state of a particular plate.
A temperature value alone does not reveal phase state. Find the maker's conditioning instructions and approved check for the plate code; do not infer internal condition from surface frost.
Record sensor location, duration and observation. Isolate plates that cannot be verified under maker procedure and do not dispatch before obtaining technical guidance.
