At a mall the entry slot to the loading bay is fixed, the service lift is shared and other suppliers' trolleys wait in the corridor. The product stands in an uncontrolled environment meanwhile, and the delivery window is often a narrow gap before the stores open.

Shortening the queue is not in the supplier's hands, so what remains is what the product goes through while it waits. GEBHARDT's Isotec TBX container keeps the cold chain for up to 24 hours with eutectic plates, and time spent waiting closed counts against that; in a cardboard case the cold is limited to what was left at loading.

The goods-lift door decides whether the container can enter the store. The pallet-based TBX sizes from 900 to 1170 litres are 797 mm wide: they pass an 850 mm door and do not pass a 750 mm one. Measure the narrowest point in the car, the corridor and the turning area once before the delivery.

Get the delivery time, the booking method, the lift capacity and whether wheeled equipment may be left in the corridor from mall management in writing. If it may not be left, the container goes into the store and is emptied there.

On the round, record arrival, lift queue, handover at the store and empty return separately. The data from the same mall sets the next plan; a time from one centre should not be applied to another.
