How to label and trace cooling plates

Link each plate ID to its model, lot and use record, then to the shipment load list.

Short answer

Give each plate a legible, durable ID and link it in the record to model and lot or serial details. Track preparation status, inspection findings, use date and shipment number. A label alone does not prove suitability; segregate damaged or unmatched plates and notify the equipment owner.

A cooling-plate label should link the item to use and maintenance records. Follow the identity fields required by the model drawing and manufacturer instructions.

The label or inventory record can include model, lot or serial, status, last inspection and shipment link. If a surface label wears, preserve identity in the record system too.

Match plate IDs to each shipment on the load list. Segregate missing, unreadable or damaged items and notify the owner before reuse.
