Sizing cooling-pack stock from the quantity on one vehicle overlooks return and reconditioning. Record use, return, cleaning, preparation and ready-for-dispatch times for each pack set.

Keep pack ID, model, compatible container, route and timestamps in one table. Compare actual freezer/charging cycle with time until the next dispatch; separately flag sets left at customers, missing, damaged or held for inspection.

Use peak-period records to identify simultaneous use and delayed returns, then locate the bottleneck. The responsible owner should set stock and backup targets from this variability, preparation capacity and approved service conditions; recalculate when route, demand or cycle time changes.
