Plate geometry can affect heat exchange; do not generalise its effect without considering product family, phase change, total mass and loading layout.

Compare documentation

Get dimensions, mass, phase-change data and permitted orientation from each candidate's technical sheet. Do not compare different formulations or models by thickness alone.

Hold trial conditions steady

Use the same carrier, load, starting condition and ambient conditions. Record plate positions and sensor points in a diagram.

Monitor the load at multiple points. Take timestamped product-zone readings. Do not treat a reading near the plate surface as the temperature of the whole load.

Decide for the route. Review preparation time, arrival readings and placement safety together. Do not derive a general duration or capacity formula from one trial.
