Shift handover should pass on which verification a plate set completed, not only who placed it in the cabinet.
Identify each set
Record plate code and linked container or order number.
Log cabinet entry time and equipment used.
Segregate units with unreadable labels or damage.
Readiness criterion
Use the manufacturer instructions and site's verified conditioning method.
Do not treat elapsed time alone as proof of completion.
Add equipment indicator or measurement result if required.
At handover
Separate counts for ready, in process and on hold.
For held sets, state the reason and next-check owner.
Obtain responsible approval if urgent use is proposed.
Reconciliation
Incoming shift physically checks the label and cabinet status.
Close missing or mismatched records with a correction note.
Record retention. Link the form to the related shipment or equipment record.
Both shifts should agree on the same set identity.
