Do not treat dialysis supplies as one transport class. Product code, label and manufacturer instructions determine each item's conditions.
Keep a SKU-level list of required storage/transport conditions, lot traceability, expiry checks and receiving owner. Use the session plan to forecast use, then update it with actual issues and wastage records.
Specify pack quantity, lot documents, delivery window and route into the clinical area on the order. For temperature-sensitive items, select packaging and monitoring only to the product's stated conditions.
At receipt, check packaging, product identity and required documents, and record deviations. Escalate suitability decisions to the clinical/quality owner; a transport record alone is not product release approval.
