A DNV name or logo on a product page alone is not proof of a certificate, product approval or conformity of a specific model.

Keep a current copy, number, issuing body, date/validity, scope and verification link in the procurement file. Check the document to see what role DNV has in it.

Compare the scope with the purchased model, site, production activity and claimed use. Management systems, production processes, type tests and product certificates support different claims; do not substitute one for another.

If the copy cannot be verified, contact the issuer or official verification channel. File the document against the model/type record and track later scope or validity changes.
