In Türkiye there are three parties behind an ATP test. The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure grants test and inspection centres an ATP operating authorisation. The approval body issues reports and certificates; the Ministry has authorised the Turkish Standards Institution (TSE) for this by protocol. The measurement itself is taken by an authorised type-test or inspection centre.
The equipment manufacturer orders the type test. The centre measures heat transfer and cooling capacity by the ATP method and hands the data and interim report to the approval body; the ATP type test report is issued to the manufacturer by the approval body. The ATP certificate of compliance based on that report is issued in the equipment owner's name. When verifying the paper, the serial number on the equipment plate, the report number and date, and the testing centre have to match.
The certificate does not run forever. Equipment in service goes to periodic inspection within 6 years of production; if found suitable the certificate is valid for 3 years, and for 6 years if the type test is repeated at the inspection and passed. For serially produced containers under 2 m³ internal volume, one certificate may cover the whole batch of the type instead of each unit, with the serial numbers written as a range.
GEBHARDT Isotec containers are ATP and HACCP certified. Ask Aris Makina for the report number and date; we obtain them from GEBHARDT and pass them on.
