Setting a freezer colder does not by itself show that a plate will condition better or faster. Review instructions for the exact plate model and freezer together.

Use the plate label or article number and manufacturer conditioning document to find required conditions, rack orientation and load limits. Do not copy data from a similar-looking plate.

Determine whether the freezer display shows a set point or a sensor measurement. Document actual temperature in the loaded rack setup with logger and sensor location.

If a set-point change is proposed, verify freezer capacity with its manufacturer or authorized service. Also assess overloading and blocked airflow.

Link starting condition, plate count and position, freezer setting and record file in the trial. Apply results only to this plate-freezer configuration; do not infer universal times or temperatures.
