Quality deterioration and food-safety decisions are not the same for frozen products. Verify shelf life and storage conditions from the current label, specification and applicable regulatory scope.

Link storage and transport records to the product lot. If there is a temperature deviation, establish its duration, measurement location, instrument and product exposure.

Record observations such as frost, ice crystals, opened packaging or texture changes with photos and lot details. These signs alone do not establish microbiological safety.

For a deviation or damaged pack, identify and segregate the product and notify the quality owner. An authorized person should decide release, rework or disposal under product procedure.

For quality studies, select sensory and analytical criteria with a product specialist; report them separately from safety and label claims.

File the date, lot, record source, deviation and decision rationale. A generic threshold, visible cue or transport observation cannot extend a label date or determine safety.
