Acceptance on a multi-stop medicine route cannot be completed by looking only at the container's external display. Assess the product's own transport instructions together with records covering the shipment.

Before dispatch, record product or batch ID, transport procedure, container ID, and logger ID. Place the logger where the procedure specifies and confirm it is operating. At each pharmacy, add the handover time, recipient, and any data-file name.

If a reading or product measurement is required at handover, take it by the method in the procedure; do not assume it is the same for every product. Record door opening, delay, or equipment alarm against its timestamp.

If the record is incomplete or a product condition has been exceeded, segregate the shipment and notify the quality lead. The carrier or pharmacy should not guess whether it is usable; the decision should follow product information, incident records, and the authorised quality process.
