On a multi-stop pharmacy round, a visible risk is losing track of opening and handover events. Link every consignment to the route record.

Stop sequence and custody

Match order, product/lot and dedicated container ID to stop sequence. Record dispatch, each opening, pharmacy handover, recipient and receipt time; compare planned with actual times.

Carry cold products separately from ambient goods in a layout suited to product and transport instructions. If monitoring is required, record logger position, device ID and who reviews the report.

For delay, failed delivery or excursion, segregate the lot and preserve raw data and handover evidence. Document acceptance and next steps under the pharmacy lead’s and product owner’s instructions.
