Before the pilot, put the product and packaging, loading method, route or work area, current method, and trial owners on the decision form.

Derive acceptance criteria from the product specification and actual use case. State what will be measured, instrument location, recording times, and who reviews and approves the results.

When comparing the current setup with new equipment, match product, route, load, and staff steps. Decide in advance how many trials to run and which changed conditions require separate reporting.

Review technical records, fault or cleaning notes, and user feedback separately. Include observed differences, missing data, deviations, and buy-or-defer decision in the report; do not present a supplier claim as a field result.
